The overwhelming
response seen through amazing sales of Xiaomi's new smartphone range gave it a
solid start this year. It’s named “Mi Note”.
The
specifications are as follows:

It possess 2.5GHz quad-core processor
and 3GB RAM

USP:
Xiaomi Mi Note is
considered the biggest rival of iPhone 6 Plus. The latter’s starting price is
$1000. Therefore, Mi Note received an overwhelming response in China being comparatively
low priced. The first batch of phones sold out within 3 minutes on 27th
January 2015 in China.
How
much units were sold?
The exact number is still
obscure. However, one of the Xiaomi executives claimed of 220 million reservations
for Mi Note. The next batch will go on sale on February 3rd.
What’s
more?
Well, the Mi Note Pro
will also make its debut in March. It is said to be further advanced version of
the Mi Note. You will get a quad HD screen and 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810
processor. In terms of storage there’s 4GB RAM with 64 GB extra storage facility.

Xiaomi:
Xiaomi is the biggest smartphone
maker and provider in China. Xiaomi raised around $1 billion for an astounding valuation
of $46 billion. This was in December 2014. The list of investors included names
like All-Stars Investment, GIC and Yunfeng Capital.
