Can Your Smile Let You Purchase Something? Alibaba Has Plans To Do So

Alibaba, the Chinese ecommerce giant, is sitting on a cash pile, a part of which it is planning to spend on technology which will let you buy through your smile.
Smile to Pay!
Alibaba is planning to bring a facial recognition option with the name Smile to Pay. It will let the shoppers pay for their purchases through their smartphones by just scanning their faces.
Excerpts from Jack Ma:
"Many shoppers view online payment to be a big bug spoiling their shopping experience," Jack Ma, cofounder of Alibaba said. He said this while representing the new feature at a CBIT presentation conference in Germany on Sunday.
Jack highlighted concerns regarding passwords and security and said, "Today we display a new technology. This is the future of online shopping and how you can buy products online."
This demonstration hails at the time when tech giants like Apple and Samsung and Google all are endeavoring to crack mobile payment systems.
Apple, for instance, thinks the reason of mobile payments being successful is its ease and security based on fingerprint scanning.
Perhaps, Alibaba has other views and is ready to materialize its ideas. However, it is necessary that they make sure Smile to Pay does not prove to be rather vulnerable.

Samsung Galaxy S6: Ready To Rise Above The Smartphone Galore?

The months-long airy rumors have finally turned to reality. And it’s not just about Samsung Galaxy S6 but accompanied by a hot brother, the Galaxy S6 Edge. The latter is said to possess a cooler and eye-catching design featuring a screen with curves on both sides.
However, the question is whether it has enough spark to allure customers from other competitors. Well, that we leave upon you to decide after reading this blog.

What does the S6 Edge have to provide?
Well, there is nothing much unique about S6 Edge that will have your eyes protrude. It has drawn many similarities from Galaxy Note Edge which debuted last fall with a one-side curve.

Limitations and not-so-awe-inspiring features:
The Note possessed versatile side screen which doubled as app launcher, occasional ruler and news scroll. When compared, the S6 version has limitations. The curves simply facilitate an ornate design element. Also there aren’t any panels to swipe through.

So why go for it? You would if you want some flamboyance to support your brag among your friends. Or perhaps if you would want to try the side clock and news scroll features.

The calling features:
You will be able to do instant calls to all your recent contacts through the swipe of your finger. The phone sides will light-up when you will receive a call and while your phone is faced down.
The phone is beautifully designed and will surely turn few heads. If you have the notion of the curves being a spoil factor for steady photos, you might consider this opinion. It just isn’t the case as the Samsung letterboxes media landscape mode prevents any photo warping.

Have You Got A Glimpse Of This New Bold Smartwatch?

The air is filled with news about leaked videos demonstrating Huawei Smartwatch in action.
1 day ahead of the Mobile World Congres Event in Spain, footage of Huawei's new smartwatch has already hit online.

A glimpse into the design of its boldness:
As per Droidlife, 2 unofficially released videos reveal the design and software functionalities of the Huawei watch.
The promotional spot sends an impressive hit despite caveats in software demonstration. It features a strong outdoorsman making his way through Chamrousse mountains in France.

Key functionalities to be expected:
In the video, it is shown that the watch monitors wearer’s heart rate as well as current outdoor temperature. It also has the ability to vocally interact with Google Now.
Another video emphasizes on the smartwatch’s design. It frequently drives back to the viewers a point that it is a device which can also be used by women. Women will be amused with a variety of interchangeable wrist strap options the watch possesses.

Expected features:
The device is to have stainless steel body making it bold enough. The challenge to promote the Huawei watch as being unisex can be a hard sell. However, the video makes quite a persuasive appeal.
Of course, the device's reception from consumers will largely depend on its price and release date — remember, the Apple Watch is coming in April.
