Twitter’s Native Videos Will Run For 30 Seconds!

Did you hear the latest news about Twitter? Today Twitter has grown larger than yesterday. And there is not one but 2 reasons for the same or rather 2 tools. Confused? Well, Twitter began offering 2 new tools today which have the potential to shape its future for the better.
What are these tools?
1.    Video editing and sharing tool: Twitter began offering a tool which will allow one to capture, edit and share videos on your phone.
2.    A private chat tool: This is a tool which allows exchange of private messages. A person can use this tool to chat amongst preferred groups where only the group members will be able to chat.
As per Twitter’s product director, Mr. Kamdar, all the users will be able to access the tools after some weeks.
What’s the difference?
We all know that Twitter has a facility for uploading videos using tools outside its network. This includes Vine short video service. Twitter purchased Vine in 2012. Vine enables exchange of private messages within individuals.
However, the new tools offer notable features which places Twitter as the fastest evolving social networking service.
Kamdar excerpts, “These tools will enhance Twitter’s performance as an advanced visual medium.”
“There is a lot of hindrance while using another apps to upload videos on Twitter.” he explains. “However, these latest tools offer convenience for uploading videos on the go.”

For example, Twitter claims that a person can add a video to a tweet with a few taps. After sending, the receiver can play the video with a single tap. Also unlike vines which allowed maximum 6 second videos, Twitter videos will be up to 30 seconds long!

Google launches much-awaited Project Ara in Puerto Rico

Did you think modular smartphones belong to the future?

Well, we're here to prove you wrong. Or rather, Google is.

Google is going to put modular smartphones in the hands of Puerto Rican cell phone users this year with their Project Ara.

Google released the most advanced prototype yet for a modular phone at the Project Ara developer conference last week. They showed off Spiral 2, a new Ara prototype that can make a 3G phone call.

Modular smartphones are a new generation of smartphones where individual physical components of the smartphone can be swapped without replacing the phone. These components include: battery, processor, camera and many more.

Google's Paul Eremenko showed off Spiral 2 at the Project Ara developer conference. He said that Puerto Rio was chosen as a launch destination as the country has an "incredibly diverse" population that is almost equally divided between feature-phone and smartphone users. He also hinted that the global launch will follow soon based on the consumer response in Puerto Rico.

Spiral 2 is based on the second version of Google's Modular Development Kit (MDK) for Project Ara, which provides a reference design for developers who want to create their own modules.

Yotaphone debuts in the Middle East with a smashing launch in Dubai

We'd written about YotaPhone 2's international debut on December 2.

YotaPhone finally made an appearance in the Middle East with a brilliant launch at The Dubai Mall on December 9.

You might remember from our previous blog that the YotaPhone 2 has two screens. One of the screens is a traditional LCD screen and the other is a touch-sensitive e-ink display.

The e-ink display will ensure a drastic improvement in battery life for the phone. It is possible to access the phonebook, make calls, write texts, email and conduct other core functions using only the e-ink screen.

Yota is a three-year-old company that has also opened an office in Dubai that will serve as it's Middle East HQ.

The YotaPhone is the world's first smartphone with two screens. Vladimir Putin gave the new YotaPhone 2 as a gift to his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping. The YotaPhone might herald the beginning of Russian smartphones in the market.

We will watch and watch and keep you updated on how the YotaPhone performs.

Would you go for the Galaxy Note Edge, Samsung's new curved smartphone?

Samsung has recently launched its Galaxy Note Edge, the phone with a curved edge screen around the
phone's right side.

"Edge" in Galaxy Note Edge refers to the smaller display on the phone's right side. The main display works like any other smartphone but the "edge" is a completely different screen that has its own functions, menus and icons.

The edge displays notifications. It is a shortcut for accessing your emails, apps and more without interrupting what you are doing on the main screen. The edge can also be used as a stopwatch or a ruler.

Another thing which makes the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge stand out is Samsung's claim that this phone is its fastest charging device. The battery can charge up to 50% in half an hour and last up to a day on 10% charge.

Samsung had promised its fans that it will revamp its products and it looks like it is living up to its promise.
