On Friday, Samsung Galaxy S5
smartphone was launched and it is showing a great start than its former
version.
The launch day sales of this
phone are apparently double than those of the Galaxy S4’s launch day sales
numbers from the last year in some markets.
The S5 was launched in 150
countries around the world and is sold on a great scale in a variety of global
markets.
Though Samsung hasn’t really
provided with a number that could represent its launch day sales, the report quoted
a sportsperson claiming that the number went up in millions. The previous year,
Galaxy S4 showed 10 million in sales in just a month and it made a record for
the growth of Samsung smartphone growth.
The 5.1-inch device has a 1,920 x
1,080 HD display with a quad-core 2.5GHz chip and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
Other bells and whistles include a fingerprint scanner, a heart-rate sensor and
a battery-saving mode that can stretch out a few minutes of power over hours.
